In May last year, the Government introduced Breathing Space moratoriums, which is the first part of a Debt Respite Scheme. The second part of this scheme are Statutory Debt Repayment Plans (SDRP), a new statutory debt option that allow for payment of debts.
Currently open for consultation until 5 August 2022, the Government has created draft SDRP regulations which is expected to be finalised by the end of this year. It is expected that debt advisers will play an essential role in the SDRP scheme. This webinar will help familiarise you with the SDRP scheme.
